Chalet Renovation – Le Lavancher

We are pleased to announce that works were completed on this exciting project in La Lavancher just before Christmas, on time and on budget as always. This particular chalet renovation was quite a complicated project, comprising the main chalet with two external outbuildings (known locally as mazots) and an additional separate double garage.

The quality of the fit and finish is absolutely first rate as shown in the photographs, with darker tones for fixtures and fittings which contrast beautifully with the white ceilings and walls. One standout feature of the main chalet is the dramatic view of the valley from the living room, looking out over the sunset.

The chalet’s fabulous external finish is echoed in the interior, where a pristine bathroom and kitchen installation from a trusted local trader lends the property a real sense of class and comfort.

Existing mazots were extended and transformed from empty storage spaces into fully functional self contained studios comprising living and sleeping areas complimented by designer bathroom suites.

With work on the renovation complete, the last job is to landscape the garden. This can be planned and discussed during winter, but all labour must be scheduled for the summer months when the snow recedes and the ground thaws.

The client is over the moon with the results and was able to comfortably enjoy a wonderful Christmas and New Year holiday in the chalet to celebrate the completion of the work.
