Le Lavancher Chalet 002 – Update #2

,

As we move into Autumn in the Chamonix valley work continues to progress on budget and on schedule on all our ongoing projects.

Work has been planned to account for the seasons so as to ensure that when winter arrives all the various external weather proofing and drainage infrastructure is in place.

One of our larger renovations currently taking place is a chalet in Le Lavancher.

The project includes not just the main chalet, but two mazots and construction of a separate double garage.

Work on the external garage is moving forward well. The new foundations are now set in place and work on the timber structure is also close to completion. Once fully assembled, our client will be able to fit two large vehicles inside the garage with enough room for comfortable access in and out.

With much of the exterior refurbishment nearing completion, work has also been progressing well on the interior of the chalet and mazots.

Velux windows suited to the changeable weather here in Chamonix have been installed in bedrooms and bathroom areas, an extension has been added to the mazot in readiness for a new wet-room and new double glazed windows and patio doors leading onto an enlarged terrace have been also been completed.

The property has benefited from a full rewire and re-plumb. This work has now been completed, bringing the property in line with modern appliance specifications and readying it for the new bathroom fixtures and fittings

The high quality of the internal fit out is becoming more apparent as this work progresses, the fireplace in particular is already beginning to take shape as a standout feature.

As with all Pangea managed renovations, our work has been able to proceed on schedule and on budget thanks to many years of experience overseeing projects of all sizes.

Our trusted network of fantastic local contractors means our projects are finished to the highest of standards, whilst remaining within realistic budgets.
